LARGE / HEAVY FURNITURE
Please understand fragile, heavy and large items require delivery by a specialist delivery service. We do our best to ensure most items are delivered on our standard service however to ensure the product[s] reaches you in the best possible condition certain items require this service.
Look at the furniture measurements carefully. It is your responsibility to measure your space and access points. Consider door widths, hallways, staircases and upper floor turns. We can advise you and suggest. However, the responsibility is with you to ensure the furniture fits into the room of your choice.
MADE TO ORDER ITEMS
Our range of made to measure upholstery goods are commissioned especially for you and have a delivery time of approximately 5-7weeks.
IN STOCK ITEMS
Items that are in stock should arrive within 5-14 working days. Our professional delivery team will contact you to establish a convenient time to deliver to you.
COLLECT FROM STORE [click and collect]
For customers who want the convenience of shopping online but don’t want to wait for their products to be delivered, our Click and Collect service is ideal. This way you can reserve your chosen item[s] and collect them from our Putney, London warehouse (size dependent). The collect service is available Monday to Saturday 09.30 - 5.30pm. Not only can you secure your product but you’ll also benefit from our low prices without a delivery charge. Please note: Goods will be left in their original manufacturers packaging for ease of transportation. For those who wish to bring their car to collect please measure your boot and car space carefully to ensure the product[s] fit without causing damage to the item or your vehicle. Aflair will not accept any responsibility for goods damaged in this way or take any liability for any damage occurred during this process including your vehicle.
We try to make returns as simple as possible. While we hope that you’re always happy with your order, we understand that there are occasions you may want to return items. Please notify us within 7 days by telephone of your intention to return the product(s) on 020 87897119. Items must be returned within 14 days of receipt to qualify for a refund. Please ensure all items are wrapped securely in their original packaging. We recommend that you use insured registered delivery. Please ensure that returns are packed and labeled carefully so that they are not lost or damaged in transit. Aflair cannot accept liability for goods lost or damaged in this manner. Aflair cannot be responsible for charges made by your credit card company whilst waiting for returns to be refunded to your card. You will be required to provide a completed returns form before a refund or exchange can be given.
DISTANCE SELLING REGULATIONS
Furniture bought from stock: Under the Distance Selling Regulations, if you buy items from stock online or by phone, your consumer rights entitle you to a full refund if you request one in writing within 7 working days of receipt. This includes any delivery charge. Accessories: For small items (accessories and goods delivered by courier), you (the customer) are responsible for the cost and safe return to AFLAIR. Where large products are returned as unwanted, we reserve the right to make a charge of £50 to cover the collection cost. Furniture specially ordered for you: Made to measure or Bespoke Items (These are shown on web by status like ‘Special Order'). In respect of these products our usual refund policy does not apply, and products cannot be returned or exchanged unless faulty.
RETURNING HEAVY OR FRAGILE GOODS
Heavy goods items can be taken away at the point of delivery free of charge. If you decide to return the products, it may take up to 28 days for collection (40 days for more remote areas) and a charge of £50 will be made. Please call our customer services department on 02087897119 to arrange returns of heavy goods. Refunds will only be given provided we receive a completed returns form.
RETURNING DAMAGED GOODS
Replacements for exchange of damaged goods will not be dispatched until the original item has been received to our warehouse.
AFLAIR do not give refunds on the following items: Unwanted items returned after 14 days Items without a completed returns form. Damaged items not notified by telephone to us within 7 days. All Bespoke items and made to order items, Gift Vouchers.
